🌸 Double the Sweetness: A Twin Baby Shower Celebration Filled with Homemade Love

Some celebrations just feel extra special — and this one truly did. A few weeks ago, I had the joy of designing and baking for a twin baby shower, celebrating a little boy and a little girl on the way.

The event took place inside a gorgeous restaurant, and right in the center of the room stood a blooming cherry blossom tree — soft pink petals glowing under warm lights. It instantly set the mood for something magical, elegant, and full of love.

💚 The Theme: Sage Green & Earthy Neutrals

The mom-to-be wanted a look that was natural, soft, and gender-neutral. We chose a color palette of sage green, khaki, and creamy neutrals, accented by a few blush tones to tie in with the cherry blossoms.

The combination created a calm, modern vibe — earthy, elegant, and perfectly balanced for a boy and girl celebration. From the napkins to the dessert tags, everything flowed beautifully in those warm, soothing tones.

🍰 The Dessert Table: Homemade Happiness in Every Bite

Every single treat was homemade by Mucho Gusto Bakes, baked fresh and styled with intention. The goal was to create a dessert table that wasn’t just beautiful — but filled with comfort, joy, and flavor.

Everything was displayed on a mix of gold stands, glass trays, and woven accents, surrounded by eucalyptus, candles, and soft textures.

The variety made it impossible to pick a favorite — some guests came back for seconds, and others left with a little “to-go” bag of cookies. That’s always my favorite sign that people truly enjoyed it.

While the desserts were the highlight, the real beauty was in the feeling of the room. Guests laughed, took pictures, and admired the cherry blossom centerpiece. Every corner looked and smelled like celebration.
